Alexander Zverev vs Lorenzo Musetti Prediction & Betting Tips - Olympic Tournament

Third seed Alexander Zverev is three matches away from successfully defending his Olympic title. The German takes on the 11th seed Lorenzo Musetti in Thursday's quarter-final match. Time to analyse the form and make our prediction.

Zverev won the Olympic title in Tokyo three years ago. He continues to be ultra-consistent with a semi-final reached in four of his last five tournaments. That includes winning the Rome Masters and losing finalist at Roland Garros where this match is being played.

The German leads Musetti 1-0 in previous meetings. Their only match was played on clay in Madrid two years ago. Zverev won the first set 6-3 and his opponent then retired after losing the first game of the second set.

To reach this quarter-final in Paris, Zverev has beaten Jaume Munar, Tomas Machac and Alexei Popyrin. All three opponents were unseeded and beaten in straight sets.

Lorenzo Musetti is bidding to make it into his fifth straight semi-final. The Italian has reached two finals recently with the latest being in the clay court Croatian Open last Saturday. Musetti has played four previous tournaments at Roland Garros and twice reached the fourth round.

His excellent form has continued this week with victories over Gael Monfils, Mariano Navone and 11th seed Taylor Fritz, all in straight sets. We tip him to win at least one set in this match.
