Alexander Zverev vs Daniil Medvedev Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Finals

It's not often you get a final where the two players have already faced each other in the tournament. That's the case here though as second seeded  and defending champion Daniil Medvedev takes on the number three seed Alexander Zverev. These two players were both in the Green round-robin group and it was Medvedev who beat Zverev in three sets. That was a tight match with Medvedev winning a third set tie-break (the second of the match) 8-6. The win put Medvedev 6-5 up in their 11 meetings but his fifth straight victory over the German in the past year. Medvedev is the defending champion and has had other wins over Sinner, Hurkacz and in the semi-final, Casper Ruud. He's played five tie-breaks this week, so a bet on another in the final looks a good wager to place.

Zverev is chasing a sixth title of the year, though he will end 2021 in third place in the rankings. He's bidding to win a second ATP Tour Finals (as is his opponent) after winning in London in 2018. He had wins over Matteo Berrettini and Hubert Hurkacz before his big victory over Novak Djokovic in the semi-finals. It's been a great year for him, though still no major success in Grand Slam events. Back Medvedev to get another win over Zvererv and have a side bet on a tie-break as Zverev has had four, making it nine between them.
