Alexander Zverev is the highest seed remaining in the top half of the Paris Masters. The third seed takes on unseeded Arthur Fils in round three of this indoor hard court tournament. Here's our match prediction.

Only Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz have earned more ranking points than Zverev this year. Despite that though, the German is still waiting for his first hard court title of 2024. His only title this year came on clay in the Rome Masters.

The world number three has reached at least the quarter-finals in six of his last seven singles tournaments. So far in Paris, he's beaten unseeded Tallon Griekspoor. He won that match in straight sets but needed a tie-break in the first.

Arthur Fils is a career-high 19th in the live rankings. The Frenchman recently won the Japan Open and also reached the last four of the Swiss Indoors Championships. His good form has continued in Paris with straight sets wins over Marin Cilic and Jan-Lennard Struff, both unseeded.

He's now won ten of his last 12 matches and this is his first time past round one in the Paris Masters after two previous losses. This is tough though and we tip Alexander Zverev to get the win.
