World number three Alexander Zverev is up against sixth seeded Alexander Bublik in the final of the Sud de France Open. The top seed is in his third tournament of the year. The ATP Cup saw him win two of his three matches but lost to Felix Auger-Aliassime. His Australian Open campaign ended with a fourth round loss to Denis Shapovalov. This week seems him attempting to win this title for the first time since 2017. He's had wins over McKenzie McDonald, Adrian Mannarino (losing just one game) and then in the semi-final, he beat Mikail Ymer, with his opponent winning four games.

Sixth seeded world number 35 Alexander Bublik is up to a career high position of 33rd in the live rankings. A win here would be his first ATP Tour title after losing in four finals over the past three years. His run to the Sud de France Open is a big improvement on his year to date. He lost to Aleksander Vukic (ranked 160th at the time) in Adelaide and was then beaten in the second round of the Australian Open by Gael Monfils winning only five games. He's had some tough battles this week too and had to go to three sets to defeat Pierre-Hugues Herbert. The last eight saw him beat second seeded Roberto Bautista Agut and in the semi-finals, he had a straight sets win over fifth seed Filip Krajinovic. He's had one previous meeting with Zverev and beat him in Rotterdam last year. Zverev looks in good form this week and he can get the win in straight sets.
