Alexander Bublik vs Roberto Bautista-Agut Prediction & Betting Tips - Open Sud de France

Second seeded Roberto Bautista Agut takes on sixth seed Alexander Bublik. This is a quarter final match in the Sud de France Open in Montpellier, the winner facing either Filip Krajinovic or Dazir Dzhumur. Augut is ranked 19th in the world but was in the top ten last June. The Spaniard made a good start to the year winning four out of five matches in the ATP Cup. That included wins over top ten players Hubert Hurkacz and Casper Ruud. His only loss was in the final of the team tournament, when losing to Felix Auger-Aliassime. He only made it to the last 32 of the Australian Open, losing to Taylor Fritz after winning two of the first three sets. Agut has only played one match in this event so far. He beat Gilles Simon, taking the first set 6-4 and leading the second 3-2 before Simon retired. Agut lost in the final of this tournament last year and will hope to go one better this time around.

Alexander Bublik is ranked 35th, that's one place below his highest ever position of 34th. A win here will take him up to 33rd in the live rankings. Bublik hasn't made a good start to the new year though. He played in a tournament in Adelaide and lost his first match to Aleksander Vukic, who was ranked 160th at the time. He made it to the second round of the Australian Open but then lost in three sets to Gael Monfils, winning just five games. This week has seen Bublik beat Tallon Griekspoor in straight sets, both going to a tie-break. He then had to go to a final set to defeat Pierre-Hugues-Herbert. He's had two previous matches against Agut. Bublik won in 2016 but lost to the Spaniard in Doha last year. Back Agut to get another win over him.
