Alexander Bublik vs Lorenzo Sonego Prediction & Betting Tips - Moselle Open

Unseeded Lorenzo Sonego faces seventh seeded Alexander Bublik in the Moselle Open final. Sonego started this tournament ranked 65th but after this run to the final is up to 52nd in the live rankings and can move up to 44th if winning this title. That's still well below the 21st he achieved last year but at least he's heading in the right direction. Before this tournament, Sonego hadn't reached a quarter final since a grass court event held in Stuttgart in June. This week has seen him in good form though and he's beaten the sixth seeded Aslan Karatsev, Gilles Simon, Sebastian Korda and in his semi-final, the second seed Hubert Hurkacz. All of that has been achieved without dropping a single set. He has won all three previous matches against Bublik for the loss of just one set. Each match was played on a different surface.

Alexander Bublik is the world number 44 but up three places in the live rankings. If he can beat Sonego, then that will see him return to the top 40. His career high ranking is the 30th place he achieved earlier this year. Bublik is chasing his second ATP Tour title of the year. He won the Montpellier hard court title in February beating Alexander Zverev in the final. .Not until Eastbourne in June did he reach another quarter final and then lost in the final of a grass court event in Newport, USA in July. His form has been inconsistent of late but he's now in his third ATP Tour final of the year. This week has seen Bublik continuing to struggle for form. The first three rounds saw him have to go to a final set in each match and twice he had to come from behind. His semi-final against Stan Wawrinka lasted just three games before his opponent retired with an injury. The form player looks to be Sonego and he can win this final.
