This is one of the best matches in the first round of the AMRO World Tennis tournament in Rotterdam. Alexander Bublik comes into this fresh from his win in Montpellier and takes on Andy Murray. Bublik beat Alexander Zverev to win his maiden ATP Tour tournament. That took him up to a career best ranking of 31st. When losing to the world number 160 Aleksander Vukic in his first match of the year, Bublik probably didn't expect such an achievement in Montpellier. He only reached the second round of the Australian Open but his form improved dramatically last week. He had wins over two top 20 players (Zverev and Agut) and only dropped two sets in winning the title. Will this match come too soon after Sunday's triumph is a major question here.

Andy Murray also achieved something at the weekend. The latest world rankings have him up to 95th and that's the first time he's been in the top 100 since 2018. Murray has risen 39 places in the rankings this year and is 30th in the ATP Race (Bublik is 19th) that tallies up the points earned this year.  Murray reached the final of a tournament held in Melbourne, losing in the final to Aslan Karatsev. He gained a second win of the year over Nikoloz Basilashvili in the Australian Open first round, but then lost to Taro Daniel. Murray is a former winner of this tournament, beating Rafa Nadal in the 2009 final. Last year, Murray lost to Andrey Rublev in the second round. He's only had one previous match against Bublik, beating him in straight sets at Wimbledon five years ago.  Go for over 22.5 games to be played in this match.
