With the Australian Open on the horizon, it'd be a major boost for Australian Alex de Minaur if he can win the Antalya Open. He takes on Alexander Bublik in the final with his opponent having already beaten the top seed in this event. The Australian missed out on the Australian Open last year through injury but did get to the last eight of the US Open later in the year. This is his first final since losing in Antwerp last October. He's looking for his first tournament victory since three wins on the 250 series in 2019. In this tournament, de Minaur began with three straight set victories before beating second seeded David Goffin in the semi-final with the match going to three sets.

Eighth seeded Alexander Bubli is ranked 49th in the world, that's 26 places behind his opponent. 2020 saw him reach a semi-final in Marseille and a last eight appearance in Marseille. He didn't have much luck in the Grand Slam events though, winning just one match in three tournaments. He began this year with two routine wins and then took on top seed Matteo Berrettini, winning that match in two sets. He dropped his first set of the tournament when having to go to three sets to defeat Jeremy Chardy. This could well be a tight final with both players in good early year form, go for over 21.5 games to be played.
