Third seed Alex Michelsen and seventh seed Miomir Kecmanovic will play each other in the semi-finals of the 2025 Delray Beach Open. This will mark their first career meeting. Below is our prediction for the match.

Alex Michelsen is having quite the second season in Delray. The American debuted here last season and was eliminated without winning a match. Now, he is just two wins away from being crowned champion.

Michelsen, who is yet to drop a set this week, defeated Cameron Norrie in the quarter-finals. The win allowed him to avenge his loss to the Briton in Dallas less than two weeks ago.

Michelsen has now moved up four places to 33rd in the live ranking.

Kecmanovic will equal his best finish in this event if he manages to get the better of Michelsen. The Serb finished as runner-up in this ATP 250 tournament in 2023.

This is Kecmanovic’s second semi-final of the season. The 25-year-old, who started the season with a semi-final finish in Adelaide, is having a strong year.

He has won 10 of 15 matches and as a result, has moved back into the ATP top 50. Currently ranked 49th in the live ranking, Kecmanovic defeated fifth-seed Marcos Giron in three sets in the quarter-finals.
