Alex De Minaur vs Skander Mansouri Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Los Cabos Open

World number 19 Alex de Minaur will take on qualifier Skander Mansouri in the opening round of the ATP Los Cabos Open on Wednesday. The winner of this match will face either Ilya Ivashka or Beibit Zhukayev in the next round. Since reaching the final at the Queen’s Club tournament in June, de Minaur has struggled to maintain his form. The Australian has suffered two consecutive second-round exits coming into this tournament, losing to Matteo Berrettini at Wimbledon and Ugo Humbert in Atlanta last week. He was the favourite going into the match against the Frenchman but looked noticeably out of sorts and was beaten in straight sets. De Minaur is now 23-15 for the season and 10-5 on the hard surface. He will be competing in this tournament for the first time and will be expecting to progress with a favourable draw in the first round. 

Skander Mansouri has been in and around the ATP circuit for several years now but has failed to break inside the top 200 in his career. The Tunisian has spent most of this year competing in the ITF and Challenger circuits. He won five ITF tournaments last season and another two this year back in May, but he has been fairly poor ever since. Since his last title in May, Mansouri has played in eight tournaments and won just six matches, which includes two qualification match wins. The Tunisian overcame Jorge Panta Herreros and Abdallah Shelbayh in qualification and is now 23-18 for the year and 21-16 on the surface. Qualifying for this tournament will certainly help his ranking, but he will likely struggle against the number five seed.
