Top seed Alex de Minaur is in his third ATP Tour grass court final. The Australian takes on seventh seeded Sebastian Korda in the final of the Libema Open. De Minaur is the world number nine which was a career-high for him. Reaching this final has beaten that and he's now up to eighth position. Beating Korda will see him rise another place to seventh. It's been a consistent year for de Minaur and he's seventh in the Live Race and will go sixth if winning this title. The 25-year-old is in his third final of the year (and his second in the Netherlands) and won a hard court title in Acapulco. This week, de Minaur has made it to the final without losing a set. Wins have come over Zizou Bergs, Milos Raonic and the third seeded Ugo Humbert. He leads Korda 2-1 in previous meetings but lost the only one played on grass at Wimbledon in 2021.

Sebastian Korda has already played de Minaur once this year and that was in the Netherlands. He lost in straight sets to the Australian in the Rotterdam indoor hard court tournament. Korda has risen three places in the rankings this week and has equalled his career-high of 23rd. Winning this title will set a new personal best of 21st. The American is in his first ever grass court final and before this week. WIns have come over qualifier Tristan Schoolkate and Luca Nardi, both in straight sets. The last eight saw him cause an upset when beating second seed Tommy Paul without dropping a set. In the semi-finals, he dethoned defending champion Tallon Griekspoor, again in straight sets.
