Aleksandar Vukic vs Radu Albot Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Delray Beach Open

Lucky loser Aleksandar Vukic and unseeded Radu Albot will battle in the second round of the Delray Beach Open on Thursday. Albot won the other previous meeting between the two at the Australian Open. Vukic earned his place in the main draw after John Isner pulled out of the tournament. The Australian, current world number 171, had lost in the qualifying round to Christopher Eubanks in three sets but got a second opportunity against the American and won also in straight sets, coming back from a losing position. Vukic also started the Australian Open in the qualifying rounds and won his first three matches in straight sets before falling in the first round after an intense five-set showdown with fellow qualifier Brandon Holt.

Radu Albot is in his sixth tournament in 2023 and has made it through to the second round at the last three with his best finish being a quarterfinal appearance at Quimper. The Moldovan defeated former world number seven Fernando Verdasco in straight sets in the previous round but was forced to seven games in each set by the veteran Spaniard. In his last appearance here in Delray, Albot was seeded eighth but lost in the first round. The winner here will advance to play either second-seed Tommy Paul or world number 95 Denis Kudla in the quarterfinals.
