Aleksandar Vukic vs Christopher Eubanks Prediction & Betting Tips - Dallas Open

Fifth seed Christopher Eubanks takes on unseeded Aleksandar Vukic in round one of the Dallas Open. In the next round of this outdoor hard court tournament, the winner will face either James Duckworth or Zachary Svajda. Eubanks will hope to avoid a repeat of last year when being beaten in the first round of this tournament. The American is 33rd in the live rankings which is four places below his career high. He'll be looking for a good run this week as 2024 hasn't been the best of years for him so far. He lost in the first round in Auckland to Botic van de Zandschulp. That was followed by a win over Taro Daniel (runner up in Auckland) in the Australian Open but he then lost to fifth seeded Andrey Rublev in round two. Last year saw him win four Challenger Tour events on hard courts. HIs best successes came on grass though, winning the Mallorca Open and reaching the Wimbledon quarter finals.

Aleksandar Vukic is down at 69th in the live rankings. That's 21 places adrift of the career high he achieved last August. He comes into this tournament still waiting for his first win of the new year. First round defeats have been inflicted on him by Jordan Thompson (in both Brisbane and the Australian Open) and Auckland. In the latter he was beaten by Taro Daniel who subsequently lost to Eubanks in the Australian Open. He needs to rediscover the form he was in when winning the Atlanta Open last year. That doesn't look likely after his start to the year and we back Eubanks to get the win.
