Aleksandar Kovacevic vs Cameron Norrie Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Los Cabos Open

Second seed Cameron Norrie begins his Los Cabos Open campaign on Thursday with a second-round meeting with unseeded Aleksandar Kovacevic. Kovacevic is making his debut in Los Cabos. He began the tournament with a straight-sets win. The American defeated qualifier Omni Kumar by the loss of seven games with the match lasting an hour and 30 minutes. The win was the 22nd of a rocky campaign for Kovacevic, who has suffered defeat 18 times. However, having had his best moments this season on hard court, he will be confident of progressing past Norrie. Kovacevic has registered a 15-8 record on hard court and one of his two challenger titles has come on the surface. He is currently ranked 131st in the live ranking, down two places after losing 10 ranking points.

Cameron Norrie has lost 105 ranking points this week but he remains in 13th place in the ATP. The Brit has been inactive for almost a month since his second-round elimination at Wimbledon. He will however be confident of clawing back those points as he is at a tournament he has won before. Norrie triumphed here in 2021 and last season, finished as runner-up. The 27-year-old is having a strong campaign and has won 30 of the 43 matches he has played. Eleven of his wins have come on hard court where he has played 15 times. His form on the surface has produced one run to a final but his highlight of the season has been on clay. Norrie has played three finals so far this season and has one title. The winner here will play either seventh-seed Dominik Koepfer or unseeded James Duckworth in the quarterfinals.
