Second seed Sebastian Baez takes on the fourth seeded Alejandro Tabilo in the final of the Chile Open. Both players have won one  ATP Tour so far this year, but it's Baez whose previous victory was achieved on the surface being used for this match. Baez won the clay court tournament held in Rio last week and has continued his good form in Santiago. He's now won his last eight clay court matches with only a couple of sets being lost. His good form has seen him rise to a career high 21st in the live rankings. Beating Tabilo will see him rise to 19th. This week has seen him drop just the one set on his way to this final. That was in the second round when having to come from a set down to defeat Juan Pablo Virallas. Saturday's semi-final saw him get past Pedro Martinez for the loss of just six games.

Alejandro Tabilo won a title in Auckland this year but that was played on a hard court. He was ranked 51st at the start of this ATP 250 event but has now set a new career high of 39th, Another four places will be climbed if he can win this title. Tabilo is 1-1 in previous meetings with Baez, both played on clay. The most recent meeting was in 2022 and won by Tabilo. He's reached this final for the loss of only one set. That was lost in his semi-final win over qualifier Corentin Moutet after dropping the first set. We tip Baez to win this final and win a second clay court tournament in a row.
