Eighth seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina faces off with seventh seed Miomir Kecmanovic in the final of the 2025 Delray Beach Open. This marks their fourth career meeting but the first as a championship match. Below is our prediction.

Davidovich Fokina has qualified for only his second tour final. The Spaniard contested his first final three years ago at the Monte-Carlo Masters but didn't claim the prize.

To advance to this week’s final, Davidovich Fokina defeated fourth seed Matteo Arnaldi in straight sets. It was his first victory against the Italian in their second meeting in less than two weeks.

Now with nine wins in 13 outings this season, the 25-year-old has moved up 10 places to 50th in the live ranking.

Kecmanovic lost in the final in Delray in 2023. He hasn’t had the best of times whenever he made it to the championship tie at tour level.

The Serb has contested four tour finals before and only once has he been crowned champion. Having dominated matchups with Davidovich Fokina, he will be confident of adding to his trophy cabinet.

Kecmanovic has never lost against Davidovich Fokina, winning three times, most recently in Basel in 2022. The 25-year-old, who has moved up to 47th in the live ranking, defeated third seed Alex Michelsen 2-0 in the semi-finals.
