The final day of the 2024 Laver Cup begins with a doubles match between Team World and Team Europe. Team World lead the tie 8-4 and need just five more points to win the tie. Here's our match prediction.
Team Europe is represented by Carlos Alcaraz and Casper Ruud. They take on the Team World doubles partnership of Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe. There are a possible four matches to be played on the final day.
This match will be followed by three singles if required. The winner of each match earns their side three points so a win for Team World would take them to the verge of retaining the trophy.
The doubles have been going well for Team World so far with them winning both of the matches. Day one saw the team of Shelton and Fritz defeat Alcaraz and Zverev. Shelton partnered Alejando Tabilo on Saturday, beating Tsitsipas and Ruud.
It's been a busy tournament for Shelton who also played in the singles yesterday but lost to Alcaraz. He's also due to play in the next match on Sunday against Alexander Zverev. His partner Frances Tiafoe won his singles match against Daniil Medvedev.
