Albert Ramos Vinolas vs Hugo Dellien Prediction & Betting Tips - ATP Santiago Open

Round one of this  Chile Open clay court tournament sees unseeded Spaniard Albert Ramos Vinolas take on Bolivia's Hugo Dellien who is also not among the seeds in this tournament. The winners go into the last 16 and take on either unseeded Bernabe Zapata Miralles or eighth seed Jaume Munar, both of whom hail from Spain. Dellien is currently down at 157th in the live rankings. He needs a good run this week as he's just lost the points earned when reaching the last eight in the 2023 Rio Open. He'd love to return to that kind of form as this year has seen him lose four of his seven matches. His most recent loss was to Cameron Norrie in the recent Rio Open. Before that he got to the second round in Cordoba but lost in the qualifying rounds in Buenos Aires.

Albert Ramos Vinolas is 104th in the live rankings and  will be out to maintain his impressive record against Dellien. He's won all of their three previous meetings and all were played on clay. However, on closer inspection the fact is this is their first match since 2019 and only the second in the past ten years. 2024 has been a bit of a struggle for him with only two out of six matches being won. Three of his last four matches have ended in defeat. His only recent win was in the first round of the Rio Open when beating Juan Pablo Virallas in three sets. The second round saw him lose to Francisco Cerundolo and he only won three games. His last four defeats have all been in straight sets. We tip Dellien to get his first win over Vinolas.
